Media Markt

Rana was a brand manager for the multinational consumer electronics company Media Markt (equivalent to Best Buy, for Europe), managing a network of automated retail stores in Germany and Italy. She collaborated with the business development teams at Media Markt to grow the network by introducing new products, optimizing the planogram, refreshing signage, and updating the proprietary touch-screen interface on the machines. 

The network of stores were located in high transit areas, airports and train stations, which allowed Rana to strategically determine the products commuters would need most.  She merchandised the assortment for people on the go, who invariably forget to pack their tech essentials, like chargers and headphones. And for the luxurious traveler, iPads and Kindles.
