Proactiv

Rana was a brand manager for the Proactiv skin care company, managing a network of 700 automated retail stores across the US and Canada. She collaborated with the leadership teams at Guthy-Renker and North American Kiosk to grow the retail network by developing promotions, optimizing planograms, refreshing signage, and updating the proprietary touchscreen interface on the machines.  She led efforts between creative, field ops, engineering, and planning departments to execute the plans developed by the leadership team.

She launched the new, premium Proactiv+ line throughout the US and Canada locations developing the store physical and digital aesthetic. This new line had a higher price point than original Proactiv, so it was critical customers understood the benefits and distinctions between the two lines, so there was no user confusion.  She initiated field tests to determine the optimal price structure, product assortment and UI navigation, resulting in increased average network sales of 24% upon full roll out. Additionally, running A/B tests and irrational pricing tests to further optimize the network.

Rana analyzed weekly sales and reported insights and trends. She ran quarterly business reviews with CEOs and executives of each company, making recommendations to meet quarterly and annual growth plans.
